  • October 2nd's KBO Scores:  Hanwha 11:8 LG // SK 9:0 KIA // Samsung 9:2 Lotte // Nexen 2:1 NC

    Hanwha/LG:  Eveland goes 2 innings, giving up 9 hits, 7 earned runs and gets the no-decision for Hanwha.  Kim Kwang-soo gets the win and Song Chang-sik the save for Hanwha.  Yoo Won-sang takes the loss for LG.  Kim Tae-kyun hit a home run for Hanwha. 

    SK/KIA:  Seddon goes 5.1 innings, giving up 3 hits, 6 walks, 6 strikeouts, 0 earned runs and gets the win for SK.  Im Jun-seop goes 2 innings, giving up 5 hits, 3 strikeouts, 5 runs, 1 earned run and takes the loss for KIA.  Park Jung-kwon hit a home run for SK.

    Samsung/Lotte:  Jang Won-sam goes 5 innings, giving up 5 hits, 1 home run, 3 strikeouts, 2 earned runs and gets the win for Samsung.  Lee Sang-hwa takes the loss for Lotte.  With the win, the Samsung Lions clinched their 3rd straight league pennant (a new KBO record) and advance to the Korean Series for the 3rd straight time.

    Nexen/NCKnight goes 7.1 innings for Nexen giving up 5 hits, 2 walks, 6 strikeouts, 0 earned runs and gets the win.  Son Seung-rak the save.  Hacker goes the distance for NC, giving up 6 hits, 5 strikeouts, 2 runs, 1 earned run and takes the loss for NC.  NC's Kim Jong-ho stole his 50th base of the season.
