  • MyKBO Heard This:  The Nexen Heroes have signed utility player Vinny Rottino.  Rottino played for the Orix Buffaloes in Japan last season.  (MyKBO does not know when this signing will be officially announced by Nexen, but my assumption is it won't be until after the owners officially approve the 3 foreign player rule)

  • KBO Free Agency:  Kwong Yong-kwan, Kang Young-sik, Park Jung-jin, Han Sang-hoon, and Lee Dae-soo all re-signed with their respective clubs.  Jung Keun-woo and Lee Yong-kyu have new clubs.
  • NC has signed Lee Jong-wook for 4 years for 5 billion won and Son Shi-heon got 3 billion for 4 years with NC.
  • Hanwha has signed free agents Jung Keun-woo (SK) and Lee Yong-kyu (KIA) for 7 billion won and 6.7 billion won.  In the last 2 days, Hanwha has spent 17.8 billion won on 5 free-agents, with 13.7 billion being spent on Jung Keun-woo and Lee Yong-kyu.  Sounding like for Jung: 3.5 billion won signing bonus, 700 million a year salary with an option of 700 million. Lee: 3.2 billion won signing bonus, 700 million a year salary with an option of 700 million.
