- Under the Radar: Fans familiar with Korean baseball know who Yoon Suk-min is and to some extent, Samsung closer Oh Seung-hwan. One player they may not know much about is SK Wyverns third baseman, Choi Jeong. (NOTE: If Korea makes the final 4, the days spent practicing and playing for the WBC team will count as service time. KBO players become free-agents after 9 years) Choi currently has 7 years, 134 days of KBO service (145 days= 1 season). If Korea advances to the final 4 of the WBC, Choi would gain enough days to have 8 years of KBO service and become a free-agent after the 2013 season (assuming he stays healthy). Choi Jeong will be wearing #14 for Korea during the WBC. Here's a Youtube playlist of Choi Jeong.
