  • Shortstop Kang Jung-ho seeking at least US$5 million per season in multiyear big league deal: source  Yonhap
  • New faces for expansion baseball club KT Wiz seeking fresh starts   Yonhap
  • Cha Il-mok returns to KIA on a 2-year deal worth 450 million won.
  • MyKBO has learned that the SK Wyverns were initially looking to bring back Chris Seddon for the 2015 season, but things fell apart on SK's end.  From what MyKBO heard, Seddon has asked for his KBO rights to be released but SK will not honor this request (previously this season, LG, NC, Nexen released the KBO rights on their former foreign players).  MyKBO wonders if this is 'punishment' for Seddon not returning to SK in 2014 or if SK is simply looking for a buyout.  MyKBO thinks Seddon could help out another KBO team this season if SK would release his rights. (never been a fan of KBO teams being able to hold a foreign player's rights for years).
