  • August 22nd's KBO Scores:  KIA 3:4 Hanwha // LG 1:6 SK // NC 1:6 Nexen // Doosan 2:4 Samsung

    KIA/Hanwha:  Yoo Chang-sik goes 6 innings, giving up 4 hits, 2 walks, 2 strike outs, 1 earned run and getting the win for Hanwha.  Song Chang-sik the save.  Below goes 4.2 innings, giving up 5 hits, 3 walks, 1 home run, 3 strike outs, 4 runs, 3 earned runs and takes the loss.  Lee Yang-ki hit a home run for Hanwha.

    LG/SK:  Baek In-sik goes 6 innings, giving up 6 hits, 2 walks, 2 strike outs, 1 earned run and gets the win for SK.  Liz goes 7 innings, giving up 6 hits, 2 walks, 3 home runs, 4 earned runs and takes the loss for LG.  Lee Jae-won, Choi Jeong, and Jung Sang-ho hit home runs for SK.  Choi's home run was the 150th home run of his KBO career.

    NC/Nexen:  Oh Jae-young goes 5 innings, giving up 2 hits, 3 walks, 4 strike outs, 1 run, 0 earned runs and gets the win for Nexen.  It was Oh's first win as a starter since April 18, 2006 (2,638 days).  Noh Sung-ho only last's a third of an inning, giving up 2 runs and taking the loss for NC.  Park Byung-ho hit his 24th home run of the season.

    Doosan/Samsung:  VandenHurk goes 6 innings, giving up 4 hits, 6 walks, 5 strike outs, 1 earned run and gets the win for Samsung.  Oh Seung-hwan gets the save, but gives up a run.  (last 4 innings of work, he's given up 3 runs)  Noh Kyung-eun goes 6.1 innings, giving up 6 hits, 2 walks, 6 strike outs, 4 earned runs and gets the loss for Doosan.    Jin Gap-yong hit 2 home runs for Samsung and Choi Hyung-woo also added one.
