  • August 18th's KBO Scores:  LG 4:7 KIA // NC 6:6 Lotte // SK 9:0 Doosan // Nexen 5:4 Samsung

    LG/KIA:  Im Jun-seop goes 4.1 inings, giving up 5 hits, 3 walks, 3 strike outs, 1 earned run and gets the no-decision.  Below picks up the win in relief by throwing a hitless and scoreless 2 innings (2K's).  Yoon Suk-min gets the save.  Shin Jae-woon goes 5.1 innings, giving up 6 hits, 2 walks, 4 strike outs, 2 runs, 1 earned run and the no-decision.  Lee Sang-yeol takes the loss in relief for LG. 

    NC/Lotte:  Hacker goes 7 innings, giving up 6 hits, 3 walks, 3 strike outs, 3 runs, 1 earned run and the no-decision.  Oxspring goes 5 innings, giving up 8 hits, 1 home run, 4 strike outs, 6 runs, 4 earned runs and the no decision.  Lee Ho-jun hit a home run for NC.  The game goes 12 innings, ending in a tie. 

    SK/Doosan:  Reyes goes 6.2 innings, giving up only 2 hits, 1 walk, 4 strike outs, 0 earned runs and gets the win for SK.  Lee Jae-woo goes 4 innings for Doosan, giving up 6 hits. 5 walks, 1 home run, 7 earned runs and takes the loss.  Choi Jeong goes deep for SK.

    Nexen/Samsung:  Moon Sung-hyun goes 6 innings, giving up 8 hits, 1 home run, 6 strike outs, 3 earned runs and gets the win for Nexen.  Son Seung-rak gets the save for Nexen.  Jang Won-sam goes 4 innings, giving up 8 hits, 1 walk, 1 home run, 2 strike outs, 5 earned runs, and takes the loss.  Yoo Han-joon hits a home run for Nexen, Park Suk-min for Samsung.


  • KBO and 5 million fans: The KBO hit the 5 million fan mark on Sunday. Attendance is down 10% compared to 2012



  • Players will be wearing this patch (home on left, away on right) from the 22nd-28th, along with some players signing autographs etc. (It's to help get baseball/softball back into the Olympics.)
