  • On Sunday, Lee Su-min from Sang Won High School struck out 26 batters in 10 innings (24 in 9) against Daegu High School.  He threw 162 pitches in 10 innings, gave up 3 hits, walked 3, 26 strike outs, 1 run, and got the win as Sang-won beat Daegu 2-1.  Lee Su-min's 26 strike outs in 1 game is a new record for Korean high school baseball. Lee pitched against Canada in 18U World Championship.  He also attends the same high school that Kim Seong-min attended (Kim is the player who the Baltimore Orioles tried to sign)   Naver

  • Ryu Hyun-jin had his 2nd MLB start vs the Pirates.  He went 6.1 innings, throwing 101 pitches (67 strikes). He gave up 3 hits, 2 walks, 1 home run, 2 earned runs and 6 strike outs.  Yonhap
